PLACID complete measurement systems provide pre-configured, factory-calibrated measurement packages covering the entire signal chain: sensors, signal conditioning, data acquisition, interconnection cables, accessories, and software. Each complete system is specified for a defined measurement application and supplied with a unified calibration documentation package that covers all components. You receive a system that works from the first day of deployment, backed by a single point of technical support.
Complete systems are particularly suited to organisations that are establishing a new measurement capability, expanding an existing programme to additional sites, or replacing a complete legacy measurement infrastructure. The pre-configured approach eliminates the compatibility verification and calibration documentation assembly work involved in building a system from individually purchased components. PLACID engineers review your application requirements and specify the appropriate system configuration before the order is placed.
Custom system configurations are available for applications not covered by the standard packages. Contact PLACID to discuss your application, channel count, measurement standard, and documentation requirements. We will specify the appropriate system and provide a detailed quotation.
Every PLACID complete system is supplied with a unified calibration documentation package. This package covers every sensing element in the system — every microphone capsule, preamplifier, and DAQ input — and provides a single reference document for the entire measurement chain. This simplifies the calibration management task for ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 quality management systems, where each item in the measurement chain must be individually traceable. The unified package is available with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation covering all measurement microphone positions.
