For product or quotation enquiries, it helps to include a brief description of your application, the number of measurement channels you need, the standards you are working to, and any specific calibration certificate requirements. PLACID calibration services are available for PLACID instruments and for microphones and preamplifiers from all manufacturers. Turnaround time is typically 5 to 10 business days for standard microphone calibration from receipt of the instrument, with an expedited option available for time-critical programmes. Please include a brief description of the calibration scope required, any specific frequency range or uncertainty requirements, and whether you need the certificate to cite a specific accreditation scope when sending instruments.
Repair enquiries are handled case by case. We assess the fault and provide an estimate before proceeding. For PLACID instruments outside warranty, we maintain spare parts coverage for all current production models. For instruments from other manufacturers, contact us with the make, model, and a description of the fault.
