PSQ21 sound intensity probe is a face-to-face sound intensity probe
Introduction
Sound intensity measurement can provide the amplitude and direction information of sound energy in the sound field and is widely used in sound power measurement, sound absorption, sound transmission, noise source identification, sound source location and other fields.
The sound intensity measurement method is to use two microphones close to each other to measure the sound pressure and particle vibration velocity at the same time. In order to minimize the impact on the sound field, it is necessary to accurately define the acoustic distance between the two microphones of the sound intensity probe. To ensure the highest measurement accuracy, the distance between the most appropriate microphones should be defined for specific test conditions. When testing low-frequency band under strong reverberation conditions, the interval should be large, while when testing high-frequency band, the interval between microphones should be small.
